Mange spår at denne teknologien raskt vil bli enda mer potent, og forårsake dyptgripende endringer på nær sagt alle samfunnsområder. Hvordan kan vi i en demokratisk rettsstat møte en slik massiv teknologisk endring? I hvilken grad og på hvilken måte er det mulig og ønskelig å regulere maskinlæring ved hjelp av lovgivning?

As drones are slowly being integrated in civilian airspaces, it is crucial to pay attention to their safety and security implications.This paper argues that, in such endeavors, a drone ought not be seen as an aerial device in isolation, but equal importance should be paid to the infrastructure backing it.

Welcome to our lunch seminar with presentation by Stefan Grundmann, Professor of  Transnational Law and Theory (EUI, Florence) and of Private and Business Law (Humboldt-University, Berlin).

The conference will shed light on how international law shapes central bank policies and how central banks shapes international law, including whether central banks are a clear and consistent concept under international law. It will discuss traditional topics such as central banks and sovereign immunity and topics of an increasing relevance such as sanctions against central banks. It will also explore how the expansive role of central banks is influenced by the availability of other viable crisis resolution measures in international law related to in particular the climate crises and sovereignty debt crises.
