NCHR and the Police University College (PHS), represented by Gisle Kvanvig and Detective Chief Superintendent, Dr. Ivar A. Fahsing, are providing two days of case based training and theory for DSI detectives in Thailand.
The Thai detectives present at the training have more than 10 years of experience from investigations.
Training the "FBI of Thailand" on non-coercive evidence gathering
DSI is a department of the Ministry of Justice of Thailand, which operates independently of the Royal Thai Police. DSI is tasked with the investigation of so-called "special cases", including complex criminal cases, matters of national security, organised criminal organisations and cases potentially implicating high-ranking government officials or police officers.
NCHR conducted the first seminar on Investigative Interviewing in Bangkok in March 2019.
