Coronavirus: Information for students at the Faculty of Law
The University buildings are closed, and all teaching must be done through digital means. Students and staff work at home.

Please pay attention to email from the faculty and UiO, and regularly check semester pages and My studies.
All exams at the Faculty of Law will be conducted as home exams in the autumn of 2020. The decision is based on an overall assessment of the COVID19 situation, especially in Oslo, as well as the concern for the predictability for students.
- Exam dates are unchanged.
- Exam start- and end times are unchanged.
- No changes are made to exams that are already planned as home exams.
- There are no postponed exams for courses that are offered every semester.
- Exams with letter grades (A-F) retain these. Exams with pass/fail grades retain these.

Until then, all buildings are closed for access.

Amongst other things, it has been decided that all English-taught courses of 10 study points will have their exams conducted as home exams, on the scheduled date.
Need help during an exam?
If you need assistance during your exam, send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
In the subject Field, Write: "URGENT - EXAM - [course code]". Your email will then have priority.
Keep your cell phone nearby:
If the faculty needs to send messages to exam candidates during exams, it will be done through text messages on your cell phone.
Exams with Inspera:
Familiarize yourself with Inspera before your exam. On the Inspera web page, you'll find the log on link and more information on Inspera. Also, in Inspera there are demo tests to try out.
Automatic submission in Inspera:
Please note that at the end of the exam, your exam answer will automatically be submitted. This means that you do not need to click the "Submit now" button in Inspera (it will only bring you to the Dashboard-page). The "end of the exam" includes any extra time given for your exam.

The UiO exam information website has been updated, with new information on coronavirus and exam at UiO. Amongst other things, self-notification is now allowed in case of illness.
