Duties
As research advisor I offer support with fundraising, grant writing and the management of externally funded research projects.
Background
I have a varied academic background in humanities (PhD in Arabic and linguistics Nijmegen, NL, 1998) and subsequently biology (PhD in evolutionary biology / entomology, Oslo, 2015). In between I have been working at different universities in the Netherlands as postdoc, lecturer and project manager of mostly EU-funded research infrastructure and research projects. From 2017-2020 I worked at UiO's Museum of Cultural History as leader of the research project Saving Oseberg. Preparing grant applications was a part of my duties in these different positions.
