Beijing-Oslo Recommendations
On the Protection of the Rights of Linguistic Minorities

A group of experts having strong concerns about minority rights and linguistic diversity drafted in their personal capacity these Recommendations. They are based on the activities organized under the China Autonomy Programme (CAP) and  its cooperation partner – the Research Centre for Ethnic Issues,  State Ethnic Affairs Commission of the People's Republic of China. The participants in this project willlook at past experiences and existing challenges for future policy/law development in this field.
