HYDROGENi Centre for Environment-friendly Energy Research (FME) HYDROGENi

The University of Oslo participates in the Research Centre for Environmentally Friendly Energy (FME) HYDROGENi, conducting research within natural sciences and law.

About the Project

HYDROGENi advances research and innovation within hydrogen and ammonia, which are needed to achieve the 2030 and 2050 targets in the hydrogen roadmap. The FME runs from 2022 to 2027, with a planned extension to 2030.

Research conducted at the Nordic Institute of Maritime Law contributes to the project's Integrating Activity 1: Sustainable Value Creation and Societal Impact. Our main task concerns sales contracts for hydrogen. A postdoc position will be announced in 2025.

Background

SINTEF is the host institution. UiO is a research partner with participation from the Centre for Materials Science and Nanotechnology (SMN), the Department of Technology Systems, and the Scandinavian Institute of Maritime Law. For more information, see the project’s main page at SINTEF.
