LILO Talk is a forum for discussing legal innovation and legal tech. We invite legal tech founders to present their solution and have an in-depth conversation about how idea was formed, the highs and lows of becoming a legal innovator and valuable lessons learned. By encouraging the sharing of experiences, LILO aims to inspire and enable more students to pursue their own legal tech ideas.
Our guest at this LILO Talk is Merete Nygaard from Lexolve (external link). Merete was a business lawyer in Wiersholm before she left her lawyer career to establish what is today Norway's leading legaltech company Lexolve (formally Lawbotics AS) in 2016. Lexolve's vision is that all small businesses have access to great legal counsel. They have developed a tiny, data-driven, legal department, making legal work easier, safer, affordable, and efficient for the companies and people working in them. Lexolve has been named one of Norway's most innovative startups and was shortlisted for Oslo Innovation Award in 2021.

About LILO Talk
Each LILO Talk will begin with a presentation of the guest and their solution, followed by an interview. Finally, we invite the audience to ask their own questions to the guest. After the Q&A you are all welcome to stay and continue the discussion over some pizza.
