Professor, Norsk senter for menneskerettigheter. 

I perioden 2018-2021 var jeg senterleder ved Norsk senter for menneskerettigheter. I 2015-2018 var jeg undervisningsleder ved senteret og ledet vårt masterprogram om menneskerettigheter.

Jeg har en bachelor-grad i jus (LL.B, 2000) fra Tirana University School of Law, Albania, og en mastergrad (LL.M, 2002) og en doktorgrad (PhD, 2008) i internasjonalrett fra Utrecht University School of Law, Nederland.
I løpet av de siste nesten to tiårene har jeg forsket, publisert og undervist innen ulike områder, deriblant internasjonale menneskerettigheter, internasjonal humanitærrett, internasjonal strafferett og folkerett, ved ulike universiteter i Nederland, Albania, Kina, VS, Kosovo og Norge.
