Thematic group on commercial law

The purpose of the group is to bring together people working with commercial law at the various departments at the faculty.

About the group

The group works with classic areas of law such as contract law, tort law, company law, third privacy and insolvency law. Particular focus is placed on subject areas that are not covered by other academic and research groups.

The purpose of the group

The purpose of the group is to bring together people working with commercial law at the various departments at the faculty, and in particular the Department of Private Law and the Scandinavian Institute of Maritime Law. We will therefore have regular lunch meetings, preferably Thursdays. At the lunch meetings, it will vary whether there will be an initiator of a current topic, or if we just meet for informal chat. The group will also have other events, including seminars where we invite external parties. Where appropriate, the events will be marketed through the Centre for Commercial Law. We welcome both permanent and temporary employees.

Duration

The group is established for the period 1 August 2022 to 31 July 2024.

Leader of the group

The thematic group is led by Margrethe Buskerud Christoffersen, Department of private law.
